Screws for wood

Screws that work in timber itself, not through sheeting into timber. Two groups, two different jobs.

Which group to choose
  • Carpentry — HR 8.0xL flange head construction screws for roof trusses, frame structures and battens
  • Distance screws — DS 6.0xL with a countersunk head, for levelling battens and aligning wall structures
Why distance screws matter

A batten that is out of plane shows up in the finished roof as a wave visible along the whole slope. A distance screw lets you set the gap between timber elements instead of packing it out with offcuts — the adjustment stays where you set it.

Both lines are zinc-plated carbon steel and are driven with a magnetic adapter.
