Why matched sets
A plug is designed for one hole diameter. Half a millimetre over and the expansion never reaches the wall of the hole, so the fixing holds in the plug rather than in the substrate — it feels tight on installation and pulls out under load. Buying the drill with the plug removes that guesswork.
