Flange head screws

Not every joint needs a drill point. Where the hole already exists or the material is thin enough to tap, a flange head screw is the faster and cleaner solution.

Construction

Stainless steel SAE 410, PH2 drive, 12 mm head. Corrosion class C4 — suitable for coastal and industrial atmospheres, where zinc-plated carbon steel would be at its limit.

Where they are used

Fixing thin-walled profiled sheets and sheet metal flashings, in steel or plastic, into timber or thin-walled steel profiles. Typically flashings, ridge and eaves details — everything installed after the main roof covering.

Finish

Heads can be powder coated in our paint shop — UV-resistant polyester 50–60 µm, colour-matched to the sheeting.
